Omissions in the use of Conjunctions: A conjunction is a word that is used to connect words, phrases, and clauses.
A) Use of Coordinating conjunctions: this conjunction is used to connect items that are grammatically equal: two words or two phrases. Exampes are for , and, nor, but, or, yet, so.
B) Correlative conjunctions are pairs of conjunctions that work together. Some examples are either/or, neither/nor, and not only/but also.
C) A subordinating conjunction can show a cause-and-effect relationship or a contrast, or a type of relationship between the clauses. Common subordinating conjunctions are because, since, as, although, though, while, and whereas.
D) Not all verbs can be followed by a that-clause.
E) When a negative expression comes at the beginning of a sentence, we use an inverted word order. That means the auxiliary verb comes before the subject. Note that only the auxiliary verb is inverted. The rest of the verb goes after the subject.
